In order to protect your account from unauthorized access, Penn State Federal must send you a security code to double-check your identity.

Please choose one of the following contact methods:

Receive security code by text message

Message and data rates may apply. There is no charge from Penn State Federal, but your mobile phone company may charge you for text messages.

Why do I need a security code?

You are logging in for the first time on this computer, or there has been a change to your Internet connection. When this happens, we need to double-check your identity.

Why double-check my identity?

The purpose is to allow you access, but deny access to anyone pretending to be you. Penn State Federal uses strong two-factor authentication to protect your account from unauthorized access. The first factor used to confirm your identity is a temporary security code. The second factor used to confirm your identity is your secret password. We will only send the security code to the phone number or email address listed on your account, so it is important to keep your contact information up to date.
